There are mainly following two systems of cooling I.C engines : 

  1. Air cooling
  2. Water cooling
1) Air cooling system : 



➤  In this system heat transfer is done by air flowing over and around the cylinder.
➤ It consists of  fins  cast on the cylinder head and barrel.
